P4 – Rotating fork clamps (DGKL)
The design is similar to that of the body of the staple fork, except the forks are arranged so that they are manually rotatable. The device allows not only for fork work but also the clamping of close and closely-packed materials. The forks can be locked in the appropriate working position. They can be combined with a sideshift or a rotator unit. The mounting of the forks is important. When clamping the back must be supported, otherwise the required preloading of the forks is rapidly lost. |
