P12 – Paper roll clamp (PRK)Roll clamps are predominantly used in the paper industry. The device consists of a rotating device and a forward positioned clamp. The rollers are clamped with a short and long arm, to ensure uptake from the ground and a subsequent tight stacking. For large differences in the roll diameter, the short arm is designed as a hydraulic adjusting arm, with the positioning executing as a 45 ° rotation. The swinging suspended gripping plates can be coated differently in a manner depending on the surface properties of the paper roll. With low roll heights of approximately the same diameter, the pressure plate is divided by the long arm so that two roles can be simultaneously accommodated. Other areas of application include the handling of concrete pipes in the concrete industry and the transport and storage of wire coils for the wire trade. |
