P20 – Forks (GZ)The forks represent the load bearers of the forklift. They are manufactured from high quality steel, and the fork carriage suspension is designed according to ISO 2328. Special suspensions are also available. For attachments, the forks are mainly screwed on to keep replacement costs as low as possible. Folding forksThe horizontally lying support piece can be folded upwards manually or hydraulically. When used on both sides of the vehicle as seen in freight forwarding, for example, a carpet boom can be attached without dismantling the forks.Fork extensionsWhen transporting long loads, fork extensions are fitted over the forklift forks to ensure safe transport. The open design requires 2/3 support from the forks and the center of gravity must lie inside the forks. In the closed design, the aforementioned conditions may be bypassed if necessary. The surface of the fork extensions can be covered with a protective or anti-slip coating. |
